Declan masters the two-wheeler!!

Its been a crazy couple of weeks around here. Sean has been working his butt off to prepare for his month long FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act) starting this Friday. He has been expecting an audit since they failed it last year. Its been one year so he has been making sure every single detail was corrected. He's not even sure the auditor is in town, but since he will be gone and his assistant will be in charge, he wants to make sure everything is perfect. So that has been stressing him out. He is also transitioning the staff for a new RAM (Retail Assistant Manager) and the guy is super high energy and wants to change EVERYTHING. Sean had his first full training shift with him yesterday and he about drove Sean The guy has been with the company for a few years. He has a wife and child, so he is crazy motivated to make money. He's a good fix for the store, but does not do will with change. He wants Sean to run his store the way his other RSMs did. Sean is very set in his ways and says, "If its not broke, don't fix it." He is all about simplicity. This guy wants clip boards for EVERYTHING and thinks every loaner phone should leave the store in a (Its just a loaner, the person will return it once their broken phone is fixed) He's just excited. I told Sean as soon as he leaves, the guy is going to change everything. He said probably so, but I'll deal with that when I get back. His old assistant, the good for nothing screw up is being downgraded to a sales rep and taking on a full time job as an insurance salesmen. Hope that works out for

I have been busting my butt fixing up the house for my Mothers arrival in less than two weeks. She will be staying with us for a week and this is her first trip out that she isn't either here for a childbirth or moving. Sooo, we are gonna have some FUN!!! We don't have any real plans, so we'll just play it by ear.

My Mother is wonderful. She is the ONLY person that has been by our side through every horrible and joyous occasion. She has kept us from being homeless, starving and with transportation. She is truly a blessing. I feel bad sometimes because she is 65 years old and still can't retire. She works full time for a large semi-conductor company and HATES it. She's gone through some depression with the death of my Grandmother and her two sisters having breast cancer. (She has yet to be tested herself....not good) She only gets to see the grandchildren once per year for a week or so. The kids are really what keep her going. So we want to make this trip special for her.

Last, Declan learned to ride his bike without training wheels in less than two weeks. (With Sean only giving him to lessons and not being able to practice every day.) Above is a short video of the end result!! ENJOY

Potty Training Success!!!!

SUCCESS!!!! After two weeks of intense potty training, Fionny is now diaper free. (Except overnight, but has not had an accident yet!) I am so proud of him! He was pretty easy all in all. Caught on very quickly. Now if only Liam would take the hint. (We think there might be something mentally wrong with him, but that's for another day.) Mary has taken a great interest in the potty, so I think I will try my hand with her. She just turned 2, so she may not actually be ready yet.

Happy 2nd Birthday Mary!!!

Happy 2nd Birthday to my beautiful little girl Mary. Yesterday was Marys' 2nd birthday, though we celebrated it on Monday as Sean had to work yesterday. She had a wonderful day. Playing with the family and opening presents. I made her a cake and dressed her in her new birthday dress. She was so thrilled with her new toys.

I cannot believe Mary is two already. It seems like just yesterday I woke up at 11pm to what I thought was the urge to pee. Only it wouldn't stop. My water had broken and was very unpleasant. I had just gotten to sleep and was so annoyed that this was happening NOW. I woke up Sean and he quickly drove me to the hospital. He dropped me off as we had no one to watch the children. So I gave birth to Mary alone. She was also a surprise! We had no idea what her sex was. It wasn't by choice, things were just very complicated at that point in our life. She was born at 1:52am. Because she was born so quickly, the fluid in her lungs didn't come up as quickly as the doctors would have liked, so they had to suction a lot of it out of her. So I didn't get to hold her for almost an hour after she was born. It was a little scary at first, but all was well.

These past two years with Mary have been such a blessing. She is a beautiful, bright, and loving little girl. She has a strong maternal instinct and loves to help with her baby sister Lizzie. She can be a bit shy and gets her feelings hurt easily, but aren't all girls that She loves to sing and dance, and is a total Daddy's girl. She loves to look pretty and will say "I'm so pretty" when shes all dressed up. She can carry a complete conversation with you and actually make sense. Shes very smart and loves to learn. She is truly a blessing.

Here are a few pictures of Mary from the last two years...enjoy!
